Support to the Government in international efforts
The Delegation is to assist the Government in EU cooperation and in international work on issues related to eGovernment.
The Delegation is to assist the Government when preparing Swedish positions concerning standards and standardisation in the IT area in the EU and other intergovernmental bodies. The Delegation is to lead and coordinate an IT standardisation council, consisting of representatives of the most important stakeholders in central and local government, NGOs and companies. The Delegation is to follow developments in the area and participate in discussions and the exchange of information concerning issues related to international work on standardisation in the IT area. These matters may involve various sectors of society and the Delegation’s remit, in this regard, may involve issues that do not only concern eGovernment.
