Coordination of work on eGovernment
The Delegation is to continually collect information on planned and ongoing eGovernment projects that are of a strategic nature, i.e. projects that affect the overall direction of developments in public administration. One of the bases of this work should be the report that Verva, on behalf of the Government, produced on the area – ‘69 myndigheter redovisar 915 strategiska insatser för utveckling av e-förvaltning’ (69 agencies report on 915 strategic initiatives for the development of eGovernment, Verva 2008:14). Based on this information, the Delegation is to compile and analyse agencies’ eGovernment projects. The Delegation is to take action to ensure that the Government’s administration policy objectives are considered in the planning and implementation of the most important eGovernment projects and act to ensure that duplication of work is avoided. The Delegation is to produce an annual report of planned and ongoing eGovernment projects undertaken by agencies and to assess whether these projects support the administration policy goals established by the Government. The Delegation is to give an account of best eGovernment practices in its reports.
