A new Board for coordination of e-IDs will be created
A Commission of Inquiry on the creation of an e-ID Board (Fi 2010:05) is being established. Stig Jönsson, Director general of the Swedish mapping, cadastral and land registration authority (Lantmäteriet), has been appointed as Inquiry Chair by the Swedish Government.
The Board will become operational on 1 January 2011, and the Swedish Tax Agency will be the host authority.
